John Gallinger
Chief Operating Officer
John Gallinger is the Chief Operating Officer for VON Canada. Prior to this appointment, John was Vice President for both Central and Eastern Regions, responsible for their strategic and operational activities. John has a deep understanding of the home and community care sector in Canada. Prior to joining VON, John held executive positions in the utility and professional services sectors.
John has held sector leadership positions including current board member of the Ontario Community Support Association and member of the Nova Scotia Continuing Care Council. He has a strong commitment to workplace safety and is a past director with the Worker's Compensation Board of Nova Scotia. His volunteer activities include a term as board member of Habitat for Humanity Halifax-Dartmouth.
