Palliative / Hospice Volunteer Visiting

Hospice volunteers are specially trained, caring, dedicated people who offer their knowledge, experience and support to help the client and their family through a life-threatening or end-of-life journey. Volunteers act as a member of the interdisciplinary team as an adjunct to nursing or home support visits.

Why it Matters:

Volunteers provide respite to family members and companionship to the person who is ill.
