Neighbours Helping Neighbours

Neighbours Helping Neighbours™ is a training program designed to help people develop a level of comfort in helping others in their community.  Participants learn to identify risks and to work together to provide simple acts of kindness in support of vulnerable people in their community.  The program goal is to tap into informal networks by providing community members with the knowledge, skills and confidence to approach and assist others in need.

Why it Matters:

The program acts as a catalyst to build community connections. It creates networks of support for at-risk community members with the goal of supporting them in their ability to remain independent.
