Adult Day Program

VON Canada professional staff and volunteers coordinate activities such as exercise classes, card and word games, communal outings and crafts for seniors and adults living with a disability or with Alzheimer's Disease, dementia or cognitive impairment.

Children's Bereavement Program

The Kids' Circle Program provides supportive care to children and teens aged 4 through 18 who are facing a life-threatening illness themselves, the life-threatening illness of a loved one or experiencing the loss of a loved one.

DNA Paternity Testing

Trained staff take finger prints, cheek swabs and pictures of the patents and children for DNA testing, where paternity needs to be determined.

Immunization Programs

A VON registered nurse can give vaccinations in the workplace or other community settings. Immunization programs include flu shots, hepatitis, tetanus and diphtheria, pneumonia, chickenpox, meningitis and travel vaccines.
