Oxford ADP Recovery (Anglais seulement)

Last week, VON’s Adult Day Program (‘ADP’) site in Oxford suffered a damaging fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt and our thoughts are with the many residents who were displaced and the staff of Meadow Vista.

VON is seeking donations of support to replace program supplies – all of which were lost – including:

  • Our dishwasher, vacuum,
  • games and craft supplies,
  • TV, CD stereo,
  • arm chairs, tables,
  • and much more.

We are also looking for a new space in Oxford that has a large kitchen, an open room for programming and accessible washrooms.

VON’s Oxford ADP operates three days a week and serves 30 people. Adult Day is a place where clients find comfort, stimulation and friendship, and where caregivers can rest assured their loved ones are safe.

Oxford Meadow Vista was a home to our ADP clients for many years, and while our building and supplies may be gone, our resolve to continue building a community of belonging for these clients remains.

VON is turning to the community and its supporters to help with the program recovery; with your contributions, VON can continue to serve clients in the Cumberland community.

We are accepting donations online at: https://www.von.ca/en/adult-day-program-campaign or by telephone at 902-455-6646. Thank you for supporting clients of VON’s Adult Day Programs.
